Check in day for IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells La Quinta. Lots of talk about how cold the lake is. Race announcer said 56. A guy in a sales booth said 46. I put my hand in it and it seemed tolerable, although that was next to the shore.

I have a great position in the transition areas pretty much right at the front. Not sure why I rated to get so close, but glad I pretty much get off the bike and make the switch right into my running shoes.
